At The Salute Celebration - “Happy Trails” - at Buena Vista Winery on Friday Evening, July 25

With two stages and a tasting room, The Salute Celebration is the most exciting food, wine and entertainment venue offered in Sonoma Valley each year. California Cowboys, one of California’s most successful country western bands, will deliver their own special brand of kick-up- your-heels country western rock.

Garen Teed Western, featuring Sonoma’s own Garen Patterson and Friends, will welcome guests at the entry to the event and perform in the tasting room throughout the evening.

On the Fountain Stage Tommy Thompson and the Western Jazz Band will perform the best of Western Swing. A second generation Sonoman, Tommy was inducted into the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame in 1995. He has played shows throughout California, Nevada, Texas, Oregon and Canada and has taken his music around the world. It is with great pleasure that Salute to the Arts welcomes this native son to the stage at The Salute Celebration.

Pull on your cowboy boots and dance beneath the stars! Prepare for an evening of suprises - including western films presented by The Sonoma Valley Film Society.

At The Live Auction & Dinner at Chateau St. Jean on Saturday Evening, July 26

Enjoy music by Susie and Dave Straight of The New Moon Quartet as you peruse the silent auction, taste the best wines Sonoma County has to offer, and indulge in sumptuous hors d’oeuvres. The quartet will then take the stage, presenting a mix of country tunes and soulful blues as you enjoy a sumptuous gourmet dinner by Executive Chef Michael McDonald of The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. The menu includes Torchon of Sonoma Valley’s Artisan Foie Gras, Niman Ranch Beef Tenderloin and Fillet of Wild Pacific Salmon, and White Chocolate Mousse Strawberry Shortcake.
