Celebrating Coming of Age in Sonoma's Secret Spaces


Friday, July 28
5:30 to 10:30 pm

Gather in Sonoma Plaza for a sparkling wine reception and unveiling of the annual Sonoma Salute to the Arts art competition exhibit, then off to travel around the world: Sonoma's Secret Spaces - each with its own version of Coming of Age!

Cut the rug at 21 Club at Sonoma Court Shops with Casino Royale, pop,rock and soul at it’s finest. One of the most danceable and popular bands ever to grace the stage at the Salute Celebration is back!

At Club Vingt et un à Chateau Sonoma, enjoy French Vocals and instrumentals with Thibaut & Friends as you taste, sip, swirl, and peruse the courtyard furnished with European antiques.

Slip into the mystic of India at Ekees Club with music by students of the Ali Akbar College of Music in the secluded courtyard behind Zagora and Sonoma Silver Shop.

Don't miss the flavors of Italy with vibrant Italian accordian by Christopher Eising at Club Ventuno in Red Wolf Gallery and Sign of the Bear.

Ole! Enjoy dance by Ballet Folklórico and tropical cumbis sounds by Grupo Musical Invasión at Club Viente Uno in El Paseo de Sonoma.

Gather at Club 21 in the Sonoma Court Shops courtyard at 10 p.m. to turn in your passport ~STAMPED IN EACH AND EVERY SECRET SPACE. One LUCKY guest will win a Holland America cruise for two.

Bay Area vocalists and songwriters Lynn Asher and Allyson Paige are without a doubt two of the hottest female rockers around. After years of performing with their own bands, Asher & Paige together are a tour de force of rock, blues, funk and a hint of country. Asher & Paige will showcase their original material and music from some of their favorite songwriters creating rich vocal landscapes that pack a powerful punch. Their sell out shows at the legendary Sweetwater Saloon in Mill Valley always include an array special guest artists who sit in such as Raz Kennedy, Narada Michael Walden, James Nash, Tal Morris and Michael Peloquin, to name a few. Asher & Paige are backed by a group of talented musicians; Mike Emerson on keyboards, Rob Fordyce on bass, James DePrato on guitar, and guest on drums.

Tudo Bem means “everything is fine” in Portuguese. It is also a common greeting in Brasil. The band plays an assortment of Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Funk, Swing, Jazz, Latin, Reggae and even a Polka, for dancing and listening. Tudo Bem features David Aguilar on Guitar, vocals, and percussion, Peter McCauley on bass, vocals, keyboards, and percussion, Patrick O’Connell on drums and percussion. Tudo Bem’s members have played together for more than 18 years.
