2004 Salute to the Arts Visual Art Competition

Sonoma, CA ~ Sonoma Valley, CA ~ The Sonoma Valley Arts Alliance, non-profit sponsor of Sonoma's 19th annual Salute to the Arts, announced the winners of the tenth annual Visual Arts Competition, at the Salute Celebration in the Art Pavilion in Sonoma Plaza, Friday, July 30th.

Jurors

This competition was juried by Beth Goldberg, Curator at Falkirk Cultural Center, San Rafael; Jack Rasmussen, Executive Director at di Rosa Preserve, Napa; and Ira Wolk, Owner/Director of I. Wolk Gallery, St. Helena. Artists entered from one to three pieces of art. The jurors chose the work from 155 slides from 69 artists; the show was 68 pieces from 42 artists.
