NEWS 2004 Salute to the Arts Visual Art Competition Sonoma, CA ~ Sonoma Valley, CA ~ The Sonoma Valley Arts Alliance, non-profit sponsor of Sonoma's 19th annual Salute to the Arts, announced the winners of the tenth annual Visual Arts Competition, at the Salute Celebration in the Art Pavilion in Sonoma Plaza, Friday, July 30th. First Place ($1000) - Red Cup, Don Williams, Sonoma Second Place (tie) ($500) -

Jurors This competition was juried by Beth Goldberg, Curator at Falkirk Cultural Center, San Rafael; Jack Rasmussen, Executive Director at di Rosa Preserve, Napa; and Ira Wolk, Owner/Director of I. Wolk Gallery, St. Helena. Artists entered from one to three pieces of art.
